Credit Union History

Labor Management FCU was chartered on December 18, 1974. The membership was chartered for Employees of Harvey Aluminum. Harvey Aluminum later became Martin Marietta, Commonwealth Aluminum, and is known today as Aleris Aluminum. Today, Aleris Aluminum employs 1000+ employees and is a global leader in the manufacture and sale of aluminum rolled products. In 2008, Labor Management was granted a Community Charter, enabling it to serve all of Hancock County with a wide variety of financial services. We opened our new building at 8225 US Highway 60 in Lewisport, Ky. This is a state-of-the-art building offering a wide array of financial services. We offer ATM, online services, lending, CDs and IRAs. If you live, work, or worship in Hancock County or have an immediate family member who does, we invite you to join our credit union team.
